Look at Eva Longoria's new hair style:

What's wrong with it? I don't even like short hair on women; but this is fine.
In fact, I don't even call this short hair. She is far from butch. Come on!

Claudia Schiffer on the cover of Vogue Germany
I saw this on one of the old Styledash files:

I don't have a comment. I just want to know what you think.

Color Blocking
I saw this a while back on Stylelist:
http://www.stylelist.com/trends/color-blocking
This reminds of a thing we had in my high school called "Clash Colors Day". I shouldn't have to explain what it meant, so I won't.
My point is: I thought too much was made out of it then. Now, several years later, my opinion is the same.

Hoochie Mama Prom Dress
I was looking through some old Styldash files, and I found this:
http://www.styledash.com/2008/05/12/how-skimpy-is-too-skimpy-for-a-prom-dress/
Do you remember the girl from Houston who wore the skimpy sarong as a prom dress? When the school (rightly) tried to put her out, she refused to go. In the ensuing scene, the police were called.
This may sound like a thing that got out of hand; but let's look at this another way. That outfit was worn for a reaction; and she got a BIG reaction. This really counts as a success. The night in jail was just more than she bargained for.
Now, to bring this thing down to Earth: we have to dress appropriately for the occasion. If you look at my clothing line, you will find some conservative items, and most that are not! There is a place for everything.
Even among the outrageous things I offer, I do draw the line. There are some things that I just simply don't want to sell to anyone, because some things are not appropriate anywhere.

Claudia Schiffer
I'm back on fashion again. Take a look at this picture of Claudia Schiffer:

As far as I'm concerned, she makes that dress look good. Pull in your claws!

Adultery
This isn't a fashion topic; but I want to talk about it anyway. A while back, I saw this on AOL Health about having affairs:
http://www.aolhealth.com/healthy-living/relationships/reasons-for-your-affair
This reminds me of all the excuses that are made for street crime. All of these explanations may have some psychological validity; but they all boil down to one simple thing. These affairs are wrong, and you simply made a decision to do something wrong.
Right and wrong are words that we are not allowed to use anymore. It's too judgemental; and it's not being inclusive; etc. Well, I'm judgemental, and I'm not inclusive. Having an affair just avoids having an argument, or getting a divorce, and just getting it over with.

Patricia Arquette
Look at the Number 2 picture here, from AOL Television
http://television.aol.com/celebrities/celeb-fashion-photos?deeplink_level0=1&icid=200100397x1205412462x1200269905
Now, let's be serious. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a shapely woman wearing a wrap dress (or anything else).
A woman is supposed to be shaped like a woman. If you like a boyish shape, then maybe there is something hiding in your psyche.
